Guest Blogger: Using Non-Conforming Products Helps to Stay Competitive

I'm an average golfer and love playing the game. I will never play in a USGA tournament as I play for the love of golf and not to compete at a tournament level. For me golf is a few hours away from the outside world and having some down time with my friends.

In order to make those few hours less frustrating it can help to use non conforming products such as golf balls and clubs. This helps me and my friend stay more competitive with each other and less frustration with hitting slices, hooks or shorter shots.

As we are all at a similar standard and not playing very regularly, the use of non-conforming products help us perform to a much better standard without the time commitment required to get down to a single figure handicap.

Generally speaking, if only for recreational use, non conforming products can help a player have a much more fulfilling and enjoyable golfing experience. This in turn helps in wanting to spend more time on the course and improving, as there is less negativity in your head when you are going to play your shot.

In my opinion there is no downside to non-conforming products when not in a tournament as they are there to help and assist in making our golfing experience more pleasurable.
