We all know dimple are responsible for a golf balls trajectory. Here’s a refresher on designs’s evolution. The Featherie was probably the first golf ball. With a leather shell sewn by hand, turned inside out and stuffed with boiled feathers, only four or five could be made in a day. The gutta- percha ball was next, invented around 1850 when a professor in England received a sculpture from Asia wrapped in a tree gum. He heated the gum and formed it into a ball that replaced the featherie.

For the past year we have been developing and then testing the Polara Ultimate Spin Wedge. Elite golfers can generate enough spin for a one-hop-and-stop shot. For the rest of us we developed a wedge that can deliver pro levels of spin by increasing RPMs 40%. Production began in December with shipping starting in February.
